About Me

SIERRA YOUNG (She/Her/Hers) is a multi-hyphenate artist working within the DC/Baltimore area as a professional actor, fight and intimacy choreographer, director, playwright, and teaching artist.

Sierra is an advanced actor combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD), a member of Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC), the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), and has frequently worked with Theatrical Intimacy Education (TIE).

She is a strong proponent of cultivating a culture of consent, and utilizing anti-racist practices within the theatre industry. Sierra is a fierce advocate for empowering artists, both young and old, to continue to explore our shared humanity and accountability; so that we may continue to grow and flourish as individuals, artists, and as a community.
